[BLAST FROM THE PAST CLASSIC] — JAMES BROWN aka God Father Of Soul - “PayBack”Brown’s singing career began in 50’s… But today I’m paying homage to one of his R&B classics from the early 70’s entitled “PayBack”.  I’ve seen noted on various websites that the song was released in “1973”… But in actuality the album not the song was released in “1973”.  “PayBack” the single was released in “1974”… I’m just remembering the first time it was played on the radio station W.I.L.D. in Boston… I wonder if that station still exists… hmmmm…

Brown’s singing career began in 50’s… But today I’m paying homage to one of his R&B classics from the early 70’s entitled “PayBack”. 

I’ve seen noted on various websites that the song was released in “1973”… But in actuality the album not the song was released in “1973”.  “PayBack” the single was released in “1974”… I’m just remembering the first time it was played on the radio station W.I.L.D. in Boston… I wonder if that station still exists… hmmmm…
